Dynamatic® has been in the dynamometer business since the 1930's, when the principle of an Eddy-Current drive was first developed. Dynamatic® has been a world leader in trunnion-mounted dynamometers, fixed foot mount eddy current (FFEC) load brakes, and since 1979 high speed motor dynamometers. Based on the demands of the dynamometer and testing markets, our focus has been the FFEC load brakes and high speed dynamometers. Our line of FFEC load brakes are available from ¼ through 6,000 HP, for motor and engine production line and repair service testing, engineering school experimental testing, and automotive and aerospace component and finished product testing worldwide.
